This ADU was built as a mother-in-law suite in the back of a primary home. It has created a sense of family and togetherness while also facilitating privacy for both family units living in their own spaces.

This new construction ADU is currently being evaluated by PHIUS and will receive its Passive House certification soon! Passive House refers to a strict performance-based building standard that dramatically reduces energy consumption and maximizes durability, comfort, and energy savings.

This unit fulfills a comfortable, modern one level floor plan for its new owner. It features an ERV Energy Recovery Ventilator which pumps clean air while pulling stale old air out of the structure.
